CONTAINER COORDINATOR

 

To support and strengthen our Container Department, Eolis Belgium is looking for a driven and enthusiastic CONTAINER COORDINATOR

 

1. Responsibilities

Within AEL containers Dept. in EOLIS BELGIUM and based on operations terminal in Kallo, you will be in charge of: 

 

• Assisting & progressively taking control on part of daily tasks for containers operations in Antwerp:

Antwerp general operations – daily/weekly follow up

- Stocks control EFP  & depots , and follow up

- Visit to terminal & depots

- Transport terminal /depot (order, follow up)

- Import releases (full import stock on terminal , empty returns instruction, follow up)

- Export releases (stock availability, releases instruction to EOLIS BE, follow up)

- Coordination of all involved parties 

 

Antwerp M&R follow up

- In service surveys (coordinate, follow arrangement & reporting)

- Daily repairs on terminal & depot (inspection with estimator & repair technicians)

- Waiting repairs authorization (follow stock, pre advice)

 

Containers inspection & EIR

- Antwerp discharging list 

1. List preparation (Containers range/PTI & alarm status/flag/equipment requirement)

- Antwerp loading list

1. Loading list (exports booking list + stuffing list + empty) 

- Implementation on other AEL ports

1. Environment & operators

2. Coordinate with system developper

3. Follow the performance & quality of reporting

 

• Within the AEL Team, and depending on the needs, you will also be involved on other technical tasks and follow up:

 

Reefer spare parts management

- AEL system for spare parts management (coordination & assistance)

- Faulty parts management

- Spares supplies arrangement

 

 

Other specific technical tasks

- Starcool: Controller SW upgrade program

- Starcool: Warranty claims (coordinate vessel/WAf cases with MEGA)

- Starcool: Failure & spares consumption

- Telematic: stock control, installation arrangements, performance follow up

- PTI tests (validity, tests on vessels, ITI)

- Box-E EIR: implementation on all AEL ports (follow up & assistance)

 

Vessel assistance / supercargoes

- Visit on board to supercargo

- Assistance for spares arrangements (coordinate with MEGA/THORNTON)

- Bonus request for PTI arrangements – Antwerp for North line & Abidjan for Med line (coordinate with AEL Ops + CSB/EOLIS CI)

  

2. Requirements

- Work experience in container business and/or electrical / refrigeration

- Basic computer tools skills / Good level on Microsoft Office

- Fluent in oral and written English. Fluency in French is an asset.
